New 'Pacific Rim' Trailer Offers More Footage of Giant Robots, Giant Monsters

LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - Xavier Dolan's "Laurence Anyways" has been accepted in the World Cinema section of the 24th annual Palm Springs International Film Festival, the festival announced on Tuesday.
"Laurence Anyways" made its debut at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival, bringing home a best actress win in the Un Certain Regard category for Suzanne Clement.
Dolan, 23, won the Best Canadian Feature Film Award at the Toronto International Film Festival in addition to the Award of the Youth and the Golden Swann at the Cabourg Romantic Film Festival.
The Palm Springs International Film Festival runs January 3 -14, 2013. Dolan's first feature, 2009's "I Killed My Mother" played at PSIFF.
"Laurence Anyways" is the story of a young couple whose love is tested when the man decides to transition into a woman.
Breaking Glass Pictures is distributing the film in the U.S.
Dolan is represented by WME.
