It may not have been a great year for movies, but it was certainly a great year for talking about movies. Hardly a week seemed to go by in 2012 without some sort of movie-related controversy. Of all the movies that were released in 2012, only two (Zero Dark Thirty and The Master) will likely be regarded decades from now as flawless masterworks. But it was certainly fun talking about all the others.
